Educational Background
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University, and a Master of Science in Social Work degree from The University of Texas at Austin. I also have post-graduate training from the Colorado School for Family Therapy, EMDR International, and Imago Relationships International.  In addition to my private practice, I was previously a Social Work Faculty member at The Colorado School for Family Therapy.
Clinical Background

I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Texas. My clinical experience and training include work in private practice, residential mental health, psychiatric sub-acute inpatient care, chemical dependency treatment centers, insurance preventative mental health care, and school-based counseling. I specialize in working with adults aged 19 and up undergoing life transitions such as changing careers, entering/leaving educational systems, becoming a parent, entering/leaving a committed relationship, death of a loved one, or dealing with chronic illness.

I also specialize in working with people who have recently undergone varying degrees of trauma.
